Torre della Rocchetta

The Torre della Rocchetta is one of the 5 towers belonging to the defensive system of Briatico against the raids of the Turks. The high coastal lookout tower with a pentagonal plan, was originally built by the Greeks, then it was rebuilt by the Romans, and finally it was remodeled in medieval times.
